1. It is Waajib to follow the Imaam. Hastening before the Imaam has been strongly admonished in the Hadith. If one makes salaam in haste before the Imaam, his Salaat will have to be repeated.
2. One should roll down his sleeves or wear his fallen Topi in Salaat in such a manner that amal-e-kaseer does not take place. The correct procedure is that in each position a little bit should be rolled down e.g. A little in Ruku, little-in Qawma etc. It is preferable to pick up the fallen Topi and if possible one hand should be used.
3. According to the Hanafi Madhab, Fajr Salaat should be delayed as much as possible and performed when it is quite bright. However, enough time should be set aside for the Salaat to be repeated if necessary. To read Salaat very early and when dark causes difficulty to the Musalleen.
4. In Wudhu, it is sunnat-e-Muakkadah (emphasised) to make the Khilaal of the fingers. To leave it out perpetually and without a valid reason is Makrooh-e-Tahrimi (sinful).
5. One in need of Wudhu may recite the Quraan verbally. One in need of a bath (Janaabah) may not recite the Quraan even verbally. However, to make any Dhikr and recite those aayaat (verses) comprising of Duaa is permissible.
6. Besides the narrated Du'aas it is mustahabb in Wudhu to recite Bismillah and Kalima shahaadat whilst washing each limb.
7. The back should be kept straight whilst proceeding into Sajdah. Only after the knees have been placed on the ground should the back start curving. The hands should be kept away from the knee.
8. Niyyat is a determination of the heart. Therefore, to make Niyyat verbally is not a condition for its validity.
9. It is Waajib to place most of the forehead and nose on the ground in Sajdah or else the Sajdah will be incorrect rendering the Salaat incorrect.
